2025 marks the resurgence of the UGMG-C with the addition of 3 new members: David "D-Mac" McCann on Drums, Teria "Ms. T" Gartelos on background vocals, and Mr. DeLaney Hodges on lead guitar. Added to the Previous line up of; frontman, saxophonist and guitarist Pro-GX3, Bass man Keenan Dr. JoJo Pensen, Michael NC17 Copeland, Trina $istah Hi~Prose High-Gresham, Ashley "L1/Ms.Goode" Goode-Matthews, and Melvin "Blck Mel" McCoy. The Gypsies are set to blaze the stage and the airwaves with amazing music. Get ready for a UGMG-C summer to remember!!

New UGMG-C Affiliate Lauren "LO" Copeland made her Chi-Town debut at The Cove Lounge 5/17/2025, kicking off a summer of hosting an Open Mic at the Hyde Park venue. LO kicked off her set with a live rendetion of he song PAID, accompanied by The UGMG-C, as the 13th Tribe. LO's performance was electrifying and engaging and the crowd went wild. Watch each month for LO to bring the heat at the Cove Lounge.

Urban Gypsies Music Group - Chicago (UGMG-C) as a musical collective strives to be different and exciting. The group has recently released the instrumental EP: 606 - The Sound Zone which can be accessed on SoundCloud. UGMG-C is also planning to make an appearance at next year’s SXSW expo. Gaining popularity daily, UGMG-C has worked on the art and craft of mastering and self-funding. UGMGC is an alternative underground band who provides listeners with a deep, rich musical experience. UGMG-C is mixed media, New Black R&B surrealism, Neo-Fusion Soul or whatever else you sense within the powerful vibes of this music.
